The purpose of the School of Nursing (SON) Foundation, Inc. is to support the mission of the School of Nursing in promoting excellence in teaching, from the undergraduate through the post-doctoral levels, research and nursing service.
Specifically the SON Foundation encourages the acquisition of major gifts and monitors the responsible investment and management necessary to sustain the growth of the Foundation endowment funds which are used to support the School’s education, research and nursing service mission. Through the foundation, scholarships and other incentives, including faculty support and community partnerships, are developed and sustained.
